|The following video is of our Falling Weight Shock Load Impact Test. A 10'X10' Cup-Lock System tower was erected for the purpose of dropping a weight from a pre-determined distance to create a shock impact load from the free-falling weight. A 263 lb. weight was suspended from the mid-span of a 10' ledger. The shock impact load calculated to be 5,338 lbs. At this impact load the ledger exhibited a permanent downward deflection of 12", and the standards an inward deflection of 0.4". There were no weld fractures or failures of any component or attachment points, such as the cups or blades of the cup-lock assembly. Click on the left bottom corner to play.|
|The following video is of our 2' x 6' Shoring Frame Test (PSV-706). It is tested at 1 minute increments of 5,000 to 10,000 lbs. It ended up failing at 117,295 lbs. The video shows the final 3 minutes of the test, exceeding ANSI testing standards. Click on the left bottom corner to play.|
